God's Grace in My Life

I’ve been thinking and praying all this time to encourage my self finishing this writing about my family and I in this blog. I don’t mean to exalt my self and with all my sincere heart I ensure you that this is a real testimony of my life. I feel that I have to share these amazing blessings which God’s already given. I learned that we have to be grateful more and more often from every condition in our life.

My Family
I’m so grateful that I have this family in God’s grace.
I was born in a small town Lubuklinggau in 1991 of both incredible parents. I have four cool brothers. My families are so blessed and happy, although it’s not apart from a heavy and painful process.

My Parent’s wedding
My mother and my father are foreigners. They got married and worked in Indonesia. On the younger age, my mother said that it was hard to survive in Indonesia because they didn’t have civil right, therefore they have to stay in one of the closer relatives and they also have to work as rough labor.
My parent’s wedding was not okay at that time, it was not harmonious due to financial factor and different religion background. My father is tough, he liked to scold my mother and she was always upset trying to be patient through all of that.
My father worked as a helper at the closer relative’s place to fulfill needs. Even though he was poor, he was honest and a hard worker. One day, he was accused as a thief and he had to go out from that place being exiled among relatives. Only my Mom believed in faith that he didn’t do it.
With a full patient and tough heart, my mother was determined to help my father looking for money by working as a tailor. Even though it’s not everything but they saved the result of their hard work to make them become Indonesian citizen. As they become Indonesian citizen, it was easier for them to elevate their lives.

New Hope
After being official Indonesian citizens. My mom and dad started a small business by opening a grocery store. The financial condition was getting better but my dad’s attitude was not changed. He was still cold, harsh, selfish, and moreover they have to pay more because they didn’t just have one son but four sons. Over years, my mother passed through these tough conditions with full of patience in her heart as her marriage was on the edge of hope.
My mother was a religious person in Christ. When she was in her weakness and wanted to give up, only Christ that strengthen and gave her hope. But my dad had not recognized my mom’s pure heart. Their marriage was worsening while my brother didn’t get attention from my dad. They often got scolded, beaten, and ignored. One thing that my mom believed, that God will always watch him and her children, and if one person in the family accepted Christ then all of the family will be healed.
My mom knew that she probably didn’t have power against my dad, especially taught him about faith and religion. She was often reading bible and going to church secretly. In all of her pregnancy, she always prayed in faith that God will heal my family through my mom and dad’s children as a tool of my dad’s confession.
Tough phase was not over yet, my mom and dad encountered a disaster where their newest business was burned. My dad was more depressed and my mom tried to strengthen him and still stick with him and pray. She believed that in every incident there would be blessings although it is with God’s way that could not be understood by my family.
There is a precious value in every incident. When my dad was learning to let it all go, my mom was still in her faith in God, then He will show his unpredictable way. My mom and dad were helped by one generous person who knew my dad’s hard work reputation and believed that he was an honest person. That person really helped my family’s financial until my dad started to be independent and saved some money to by his own house.

Miracle and Healing
My mom and dad had an intention to have a daughter, although they already had four sons. My mom started to ask my dad for having a religion and faith in Christ, even though my dad was not believed entirely in Christ.
My Mom was pregnant when she was 39 years old. That 5th pregnancy was me inside my mom’s womb. The entire families were so happy until in the 6th month they had to accept the fact that the baby was a boy. My mom was trying to find the fact several times, but the result was the same which claiming that the baby was a boy. My mom and dad were upset but they tried to accept the reality because I was a healthy baby and they still loved me. But on the age of 9th month pregnancy, I faced a problem because I wasn’t born on time based on schedule. Therefore, my mom tried to find another way for me by drinking traditional China ingredient. It helped her having the labor easier as this was the 5th pregnancy for her. It became a high risk labor and she just used a midwife. At that time, in Lubuklinggau there was only a small hospital, but my mom had already get used to do the labor with her midwife. My condition at that time was so weak because of mom’s water had already broken and changed into darker color and smellier.
My mom did the labor at our simple house on the bed. When I was taken out, my condition was critical and unconscious. My skin was become blue and smelly. My mom and dad were really broken hearted when they knew the fact that I was a girl and in the critical condition. It was because of I drank my mom’s water and I might have MAS (Meconium Aspiration Syndrome) until the death. Even if I survive, I might be disable or have respiratory disorder. They thought that I would die, but at this weakest point my families were really healed. My mom asked my dad to pray to Christ and that’s when the miracle happened to me. My mom tried to wake me up and suddenly I cried although the sound was weak, but my voice was like a gratitude to God. I’m so grateful for His love and miraculous kindness I was still alive and the most important thing was my dad finally accept Jesus as his savior.
My dad was incredibly healed and he became a wise father, a father who cares to his children and wife. That’s not all; the financial condition was also really blessed, just like my mom’s prayer. She believes in faith that her children will be used by God to bring healing in her family. All of us will be the witness of how incredible are Jesus Christ’s love and grace.

Counting the Blessings
Now you know my story about the healing of my family. That is the reason why I’m so grateful, especially for my family that has been saved. I have been given a miracle, from a small and weak baby I can be here now in this world. Since I was born, God always watch me and give me strength in Him, the biggest thing that can make me always be grateful for the smallest thing. My family and I are so grateful because we had the tough process, and God always be with us. I can’t count how many blessings for us until now.

What ever happens in your life right now: problems, weaknesses either in your family, surrounding, or job, just trust and believe that God is bigger than all of that. Each of us is precious in His eyes, and HE has a beautiful plan for every one of us. Listen and obey HIS words, do HIS words, and share it. Be grateful for every condition. God will change your life and level your lives up! I hope this testimony can bring new amazing healings. Praise The Lord!

Ephesians 2:8
"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God."

  3. I think that what you posted made a bunch of sense. However, think on this, suppose you wrote a catchier post title? I am not suggesting your content is not good., however what if you added a title that grabbed people's attention? I mean %BLOG_TITLE% is a little vanilla. You could peek at Yahoo's home page and note how they create post titles to grab people to click. You might add a related video or a pic or two to get readers interested about everything've got to say. Just my opinion, it would bring your blog a little livelier. login

  4. I do not even know how I ended up here, but I thought this post was great. I do not know who you are but certainly you are going to a famous blogger if you aren't already ;) Cheers! facebook login facebook login
